Bodyguard – Intelligent Crew Protection

THE END OF GOING IN BLIND

One wearable, every sense the crew needs.

Bodyguard is a new type of protective wearable, under development at Borealiss with requirements defined by active fire brigades. It gives the crew what danger takes away first: sight, air awareness and contact with the team. One unit, worn on the chest, built on two decades of manufacturing for extreme environments.

SEEING THROUGH SMOKE

Onboard AI detects a person in dense smoke and directs light only where it matters. An individually controlled LED matrix shapes the beam around what the sensors find: the casualty, the exit, the hazard. The firefighter stops searching with a flashlight and starts seeing with the device.

AIR YOU CAN TRUST

Bodyguard monitors oxygen and toxic gases continuously and warns through light, sound and vibration before conditions turn lethal. No screens to read, no menus to navigate. Designed for a gloved hand and zero visibility.

INDEPENDENCE

Built to depend on nothing.

Bodyguard carries no outside dependencies: no network to reach, no supplier outside Europe. What the crew wears is fully under their control, and ours.

CONNECTED BY DESIGN

Devices form their own network, unit to unit, crew to command. If a firefighter stops moving, Bodyguard raises the alarm and marks the position on its own. Everything works in basements, tunnels and dead zones, with no external infrastructure.

SOVEREIGN

Bodyguard is engineered and manufactured in the EU, at our own campus, within a supply chain fully under our control. Emergency services buy a device their governments can trust, from a company that answers only in Europe.
